CLASS OVERVIEW
Class Schedule 9:30am – 4:30pm
The S•R Education Women’s 1 Day Modern Cutting Class focuses on short cutting with instruction in two SR Education Signature Cuts (L1 & M1) and provides you with the fundamental tools and techniques needed to build a catalog of classic cuts through hands-on practical work session as well as theory lectures. Designed to work for all experience levels, you will be cutting in a group setting with instruction from SR Educator Alex McDonald.

Flat backed brush (Denman/Vess type)

There will be some retail available in the classroom for anything you are missing.

MEET ALEX
Alex's love for hair goes back to high school doing her friends hair and her own in her bathroom. At 18 she began working in salons at the front desk. She went on to work for Cosmoprof for almost 6 years. That’s where her love for education began. Being able to help others with product and color brought her so much joy and she knew that after cosmetology school she wanted to be an educator. Sally seemed like the perfect fit to help her with that journey. "Her classes really clicked with me and helped me retain and execute the hows and whys of hair cutting. I wanted to provide stylists with those same “a-ha” moments."
Alex is a four-time Behind The Chair Awards finalist, one-time Licensed To Create Awards finalist, 2020 best local hair stylist from Desert Companion, winner of the Sally Rogerson hairbrained shootout, published in Paper magazine.
